The Fellowship of Reconciliation

Vision and Mission Statements:

FOR’s Vision: We envision a world of justice, peace, and freedom. It is a revolutionary vision of a beloved community where differences are respected, conflicts are addressed nonviolently, oppressive structures are dismantled, and where people live in harmony with the earth, nurtured by diverse spiritual traditions that foster compassion, solidarity, and reconciliation.

FOR’s Mission: FOR seeks to replace violence, war, racism, and economic injustice with nonviolence, peace, and justice. We are an interfaith organization committed to active nonviolence as a transforming way of life and as a means of radical change. We educate, train, build coalitions, and engage in nonviolent and compassionate actions locally, nationally, and globally.

Since 1915, The Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR) has carried on programs and educational projects concerned with domestic and international peace and justice, nonviolent alternatives to conflict, and the rights of conscience. A Nonviolent, Interfaith, tax exempt organization, The FOR promotes nonviolence and has members from many religious and ethnic traditions. It is a part of the International Fellowship of Reconciliation (IFOR), which has affiliates in over 40 countries.

Jews Not Zionists

Contrary to common perception, Jewish anti-Zionism is not restricted exclusively to the well know Jewish anti-Zionist movements such as Satmar and Neturei Karta.

There are in fact many Jewish movements, groups and organizations whose ideology regarding Zionism and the so-called “State of Israel” is that of the unadulterated Torah position that any form of Zionism is heresy and that the existence of the so-called “State of Israel” is illegitimate.

No one has created antagonism between Torah and Zionism seeing that this antagonism is mutually inherent in the very nature of Torah and of Zionism respectively.

Zionism is wrong from the Torah viewpoint, not because many of its adherents are lax in practice or even anti-religious, but because its fundamental principle conflicts with the Torah.

Unfortunately, due to many undesirable factors, the view of Torah-true Jewry has been concealed from the general public.

We, the staff at www.jewsnotzionists.org are delighted that with the advance in media technology a substantial benefit to researchers, students, and the general public has been made available. We are elated at the advantage which the internet provides for the presentation of and accessibility to a position so widely held yet so deliberately ignored by many a Zionist-inclined medium.

It is our hope that the information presented on this site will be of benefit to all and that we soon merit the peaceful dismantlement of the so-called “State of Israel” and that Jewish-Muslim brotherhood be restored as prior to the arrival of the Zionist scheme on the global scene.

M.K.Gandhi: His Life, Work & Philosophy

We’ve given our tremendous efforts in making this site a supreme collection of the Works, Life, Teachings, and Philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi.

We are updating this site on a regular basis, keeping adding more new articles which would help you in knowing Mahatma Gandhi more clearly. Taking into consideration, the response from the students of various schools and colleges, we’ve reconstructed the students section which includes many photographs, stories from Mahatma Gandhi’s life and works, and related items.

Neturei Karta: Jews United Against Zionism

Judaism is the faith of the Jewish people. It is predicated upon G-d’s existence and His revelation at Sinai.

At Sinai, in the presence of the assembled multitudes of Jews, recently released via Divine miracles from Egypt, the Creator revealed His Torah to the nation.

This Torah contains the basic doctrines of our faith, Divine commandments and the narrative of the earliest Jewish and general human encounter with G-d.

Throughout the centuries Jews pledged their assent to this Torah even when their lives were at stake. They maintained this loyalty with almost unanimous allegiance until the dawn of the modern age. In the three hundred—odd years since the so—called Enlightenment began, Jews and Gentiles throughout European civilization have been losing many souls to its evil clutches.

Today unfortunately there are many Jews who, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of, and fail to, practice the basics of their faith. This is a great tragedy for many reasons. Perhaps paramount among them is the falsification of Judaism that results when those unaware of its basic assumptions speak to the general public.

It behooves all Jews loyal to their faith to proclaim to the world the truths of Judaism in as lucid a manner as possible.

Neturei Karta International is dedicated to the propagation and clarification of Torah Judaism.

Its only loyalty only is to G-d and His revelation.

One of the basics of Judaism is that we are a people in exile due to Divine decree.

Accordingly, we are opposed to the ideology of Zionism, a recent innovation, which seeks to force the end of exile. Our banishment from the Holy Land will end miraculously at a time when all mankind will unite in the brotherly service of the Creator.

In addition to condemning the central heresy of Zionism, we also reject its policy of aggression against all peoples. Today this cruelty manifests itself primarily in the brutal treatment of the Palestinian people. We proclaim that this inhuman policy is in violation of the Torah.

NKI seeks peace and reconciliation with all peoples and nations. This is especially needed in our relations towards the Islamic world where Zionism has for 53 years done so much to ruin Jewish-Muslim understanding.

We welcome the assistance of all men of good will and stand ready to assist all whose agenda coincides with ours.

Resource Center for Nonviolence

RCNV Rejects Violence as a Political Weapon. It shares the shock, horror and sense of loss in the wake of the massive violence of 9/11. We express our condolences to all of those affected by these tragic acts of violence. We reject all violence as a political weapon. We especially abhor and reject attacks on civilians. No political cause, no historic injustice, and no political goal or religious belief, no matter how lofty, can possibly justify the inhumanity of this violence.

In light of the bewilderment and understandable anger caused by this violence, we encourage people to avoid hasty conclusions and racial or religious stereotyping. We encourage support for our political leadership in the hope that they develop a humane and prudent response. We warn against a spirit of revenge or counterproductive acts of counter-violence.

The Resource Center for Nonviolence was founded on the conviction and bases its work on the confidence that there are alternatives to the use of violence in pursuit of political goals. Indeed our children’s future depends on the possibility of our developing nonviolent means of waging conflict and resolving differences.

Religious fanaticism and bigotry, political demagoguery, opportunism and belligerence, violence and terrorism are antithetical to a humane and democratic society.

We must remember that the strength of our nation is rooted in our peoples religious and cultural diversity, our mutual tolerance and understanding, our pragmatic approach to solving problems, the rule of law and our constitutionally protected freedoms.
